From Thursday, May 16th to Saturday 18th, was held the 4th edition of the Viva Technology fair at the Parc Expo Porte de Versailles, where the big names of technology and the digital economy got together.
Intended primarily for professionals (start-ups, investors and executives), Viva Tech still opens its doors to students and teachers. The public is also invited for a day only. The opportunity for technology enthusiasts, to discuss with speakers from the industry, to discover products and innovations in preview, but also to participate in various events.
In total, more than 2,000 startups have exhibited within Labs or for challenges. Among the major themes addressed, VivaTech is an opportunity to learn more about artificial intelligence, 5G, blockchain, connected health or mobility and the environment.
Among these companies, the LVMH group was once again present as a Platinum Partner. At his side on his stand, numerous Houses from the Group, who came to present their latest innovations. From the handbag with integrated screen at Louis Vuitton to the dream machine from Bulgari. But also, about thirty start-ups from around the world, having an activity related to the luxury sector, responding to the problematic “Crafting the customer experience of tomorrow”.
We had the honor for the second year in a row to produce the LVMH Innovation Award with two trophies in natural wood and plexiglass. Through this award LVMH supports young designers and stimulates new ideas by accelerating the development of start-ups and their integration into the market, an approach in line with its values of creativity and innovation, excellence and entrepreneurial spirit. This year the winner “3d look me” develops a mobile application that give us the possibility to digitize our body from just 2 pictures. This gives companies the ability to create a highly personalized, intuitive and available shopping experience for their customers.
