Protect. Boost. Being involved.

Based in Dakar, Senegal, Speak Up Africa is an organization dedicated to the implementation of advocacy actions for sustainable development and all that surrounds this concept.

It is through their platform and their networks, without forgetting the help of their partners, that Speak Up Africa ensures that solutions are presented and that each sector, citizens and groups of the civil society through the financial partners and business leaders, contributes to dialogue and acts concretely for health and sustainable development in Africa.

3 terms are specific to Speack Up Africa: Awareness, Impulse and Being involved:

By working at all levels of society, the association influences decision-making and political change.

Strengthening the capacities of the partners, whether civil, public or private, makes it possible to consolidate their impact.

Being involved ? By bringing stakeholders together to increase awareness, commitment and, above all, promote action.

International health actors met this November in Dakar for the 2nd edition of the Galen Forum in Africa.

This Event celebrates and rewards the work and achievements of health experts across the continent.

On the other side, Speack Up Africa organized an event to discuss the key importance of young Africans as actors in sustainable development.

The event aimed to create new opportunities for engagement in the implementation of the Africa 030 roadmap, identifying gaps and recommending innovative ways to fill them.

More than 100 participants, including local students and university representatives, exchanged on topics such as the role of mentorship, the importance of community involvement in the deployment of integrated and sustainable health systems, and the way in which strategic partnerships and emerging solutions can help young people contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals in Africa.

Speack Up Africa also presented for the first time the Leadership Award to the President of Senegal, Macky Sall, Sobel Ngom from Special Olympics Sénégal and Professor Awa Marie Coll-Seck.

An award created to recognize and reward individuals and organizations who demonstrate exemplary leadership in sustainable development and who have a positive impact through their work and initiatives.

We are delighted to have partnered with Speak Up Africa for the achievement of these awards, and to participate in our own way in these fine actions.

“I am pleased to chair the brand new Speak Up Africa Youth Council. My mission will be to ensure that the voices and voices of young Africans are heard and amplified. One of my favorite proverbs says “We must do more than serve the youth, we must trust him to guide us” is exactly what Speak Up Africa is trying to do.” Mr. Ngom
