Last weekend was held in Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre, the M&O trade show, an unmissable event for interior trends professionals. Looking for new talents and creative ideas, we went to the exhibition with a view to offer pieces even more lurid.
Among 3000 exhibitors, two areas really drew our attention:
The smart-gift area allowed us to discover the current trend: paper and wooden pieces.
As we knew, wood surfs on the green wave, this trendy material can be proposed as office furniture or decorative sculpture.
We discovered new methods of creation for inlaying or lightning Plexiglas, numerous colours ceramics or custom-made concrete.
In the end, with innovative concepts such as extraordinary material bases, the exhibition got us new creative ideas and original inspirations.
The CRAFT area made us discover craftsmen and confections.
We are always looking for offering personal and custom-made pieces that match our clients’ image.
Hence, we are particularly interested in small editions, rare pieces and unique artefacts designed and made by creators in their workshops.
We met with some artists who introduced us to the last trends: mixed materials, animal representations and new textures manufactured as leather.
Finally, although the artefact is our area of expertise, we went to explore the housing part of the exhibition.
We discovered numerous styles of decoration and interior designs in which technology meets with sustainable development. New designers work on precious materials such as copper and marble come from all over the world to introduce us to the last trends.
It gives us the will to expand our line of business …!
